When I found out about this mold making business on Facebook, I contacted Andrew to enquire what he has to offer.
I have tinkered with some mold making myself, using plaster of paris and silicone, but I was never totally satisfied with the results.
So, it was with total apprehension that I took the plastics I wanted him to make molds of to visit Andrew and discuss what he can do for me.
Andrew was friendly and helpful during our meeting.
After some discussion we agreed on what he will make for me. At this point, I must add that apart from the grub, the other lures were quite complicated with a lot of fine detail and addendums, like thin legs, tails and ribbed bodies!
Big was my surprise when Andrew phoned me within a week to tell me my molds were ready! My excitement knew no bounds as I took the drive to him to collect the molds!
Andrew welcomed me and presented me with the molds. I was a bit taken aback when I saw the molds as they did not look like the aluminium molds I had. So I opened the molds to look at the cavities which looked good, but the proof was in the pudding - How would they mold!? He assured me they work well and showed me the lures he made from the molds. I was pleasantly surprised!
So I paid him and rushed home to see if I can manage that!
The first ones always tell me how successful the molds would be.
I was not disappointed!
It has been a year since I bought the molds and they still work like the first day I started using them! I am so glad and totally satisfied that I can make my own lures in the colours I want and need not worry that they have gone/will go off the market. Some of the colours I make are not even available at the shops nor at the manufacturers of the lure! I have even made laminates of the lures, using aluminium foil to separate the colours with success!
I will recommend Zombie molds to anybody that would like to start out with the pouring of their own favourite lures and, to experienced Lure Makers that can not get specific molds they want!

ABOUT THE MOLDS
These molds are handmade and thus have a rough appearance and sometimes have small flaws that have transferred from the master. This however does not affect the quality of the lures that are being produced. The lures are often also not as perfect as the original, and require some manual cleaning of seam lines. But a good thing to remember is that fish do not know what a perfect lure is.
